The Best of Instagram for Wordless Wednesday
Rascal is usually the clumsier one, but Rocco is not without his moments.
It’s been cold lately so the kitties and the dog have all been squashed into my bed.
Who gets there first determines where they each sleep. If Max gets his way, he’s sleeping up by my side and the cats will settle for my feet. However, if they are first on the scene, Rocco will be next to me and Rascal will try to lay on my head or squeeze under the covers with me. Max will be left for my feet. It’s been a very claustrophobic winter! Good thing I am not phobic.
Last night, the cats were curled up at my feet and all of a sudden, Rocco rolls over, right off the end of the bed! He was fast asleep and didn’t know which direction to go for a moment! Poor guy! I was nothing but compassionate… okay, I admit, I laughed hysterically! Rascal stretched out and Max lifted his head for a moment. Sorry Rocco, you didn’t get much empathy.
So what woke the cat? Himself.
Pets are sure good for entertainment at any hour.
Poor Rocco. Cute photo 🙂

I like any position in bed with the humans, but I have no competition. Occasionally the human will roll over kicking me out of bed from a deep sleep. I know the feeling Rocco, I will give you sympathy. MOL!
Awww. We have one less kitty to snuggle with around here 🙁

My cat will crawl under the blankets – no risk of rolling over 🙂
Sleeping order in our house stays pretty much the same. Ruby (our dog) prefers the foot of the bed and the cats grab the spots between the humans or one of the extra pillows. I always wonder if they may challenge each other and switch places, but they haven’t yet.
That shows that Binga is actually rather smart – she lies on the side of my human that is farthest from the bed’s edge! It’s also a prime spot because it means she is between my human and her boyfriend – double human warmth.
