Stuck Cat or Creatively Comfortable?

November 27, 2013 by L. E. Mastilock

Stuck Cat or Creatively Comfortable?

I know this should be wordless, but I felt the need to explain as the kitty pic and video just don’t do justice to show quite how squished this strange cat is.

Rascal is stuck in a strange place again. He has crammed himself between a large lunchbox and the knife holder, and squeezed behind the teapot on the kitchen counter. Perhaps it’s because the teapot is still warm? Was there nowhere, but the counter that would do for a nap at this particular time?

We’ll never know for sure.

His eyes are open because he is extremely annoyed that I’m bothering him. They had been closed when I found him here, before I pulled out the camera.

He doesn’t move, not even his eyes! He appears to be dead! It’s quite creepy and I keep filming (aka, harassing him) until I see him move.  Apparently, this is much more comfortable than it looks.

He is very much alive! He finally does move in the end. Oh, and that’s me (the human) that meowed. Yes, I meow at my cats.

Thank you for stopping by our blog! I'm not sure how you stumbled across us, since I've hardly been blogging for the boys for the past year+. LOL.

I love your "about" page. I'm not sure any of us ends up with the cat(s) we were expecting, they seem to choose *us*. πŸ™‚

Rascal's a pretty big boy to be squeezed in like that. Beats me how that could be comfy, but he's a Cat, no further explanation required!

Cats find the silliest spots for a nap, and there's no sense trying to figure out why they end up where they do, because I am not even sure THEY know! mol.

If the blogs we follow are any indication, all kitties love to squeeze into tight spots and look as uncomfortable as possible. Now, most of us would have shoved a few of those things off the counter in order to make more room for ourselves. But, we can pretty much guarantee you that the warm teapot was the draw. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Amelia is also quite fond of the "stuck or comfortable" game as well as the "live cat or zombie cat" game. It's always about the warmth!

That indeed is a strange place to find comfort – alas, cats are quite crafty at finding warm spots around the house – WOOF!
