Playing around in my sketchbook.
I drew quite a few worthless doodles, but I kind of like this little guy. Though, he resembles a bowling pin, he makes one cute little owl.
I drew lots of sketches of cats, of course, and I want to get them up on Zazzle and Etsy, but my scanner is not working well. If this photo was enlarged it would be very grainy. Should I pay for scanning and prints or invest in a high quality printer so I can create fine art quality prints whenever I want?
Oh, how I wish it would rain money! Don’t you?
Ah well, happiness is found in the little things anyway, right? Such as an adorable little owl.
Do you sketch?
I’m trying to make more time for art. I even made sure I had room for a sketchbook when I recently needed to buy a new purse. Why might I need to buy a new purse, you may ask? Not because I wanted to, I assure you. I dislike having to get used to a new purse, I can’t find anything! But my old one suddenly smelled of cat vomit. The boys used it for their bed one night and the next day I found a lovely hairball inside it! Thanks Rascal and Rocco.
He is cute…looks like a Penguin as well 🙂 I was going to major in Art in college but changed my mind. I used to draw little cartoons of children, but my favorite was just working in graphite or pen and ink and doing more serious portraits. Now I NEVER draw anymore!
I hope you pick it up again. I didn’t draw for years and I’m so glad I’m back at it
That is a cute drawing. I am glad my purse has been safe so far, but not my shoes or slippers.
Mom Paula used to like to draw dog heads and horses.
That’s a very cute owl sketch!
Oh my mouses! That’s so cute!!! Purrs, Seville.
That is an adorable little owl, Leah. Owls are my favorite bird. I like to sketch too, but mostly still life. I’m not very good with animals, although I do like to play with people portraits. Thanks for sharing!
People are hard! As a teen I would sit at coffee shops and draw people just to practice. Fun to get lost in the process, though.
