Click to Help Animal Shelters
I’m sure you’ve heard of the site where you can click daily to supply food to animal shelters (there’s the badge, right there in my upper left hand corner). The name of the site is the Animal Rescue Site and it’s part of the Greater Good.
Last year, visitor clicks funded the value of 68 million bowls of food for animals sheltering in sanctuaries. Purchases at The Animal Rescue Site store funded the value of
an additional 11.9 million bowls of food.
That’s right, you can also shop for a cause! Purchase gifts directly from the Animal Rescue Site store and each item you buy funds at least 14 bowls of food for shelter animals in need as well as helps some great charities, such as Petfinder.com Foundation, IFAW, Rescue Bank, and more!
Did you also know there are other buttons at the top of that site you can click on daily, for free, without signing in or signing up for anything?
Just one simple click to help even more causes.
Here’s the list of causes you can click to help through the Greater Good:
Plus, you can shop for a cause, to help any of these!
When I’m going to buy a gift for someone anyway, I love that I can help someone in need in the process!
They offer great gifts at very reasonable prices; from clothing and housewares to jewelry, purses, and even toys, as well as fair trade. You can also find many more important causes and give directly if you’re able.
I especially love the Go Green section on the Hunger Site Store. I want a ‘Be the Change’ leather bracelet!
And in the Footwear section on the Animal Rescue Site Store; I want these awesome paw print boots!
Okay, these are just ingenious. They’re gorgeous and have conductive fiber woven into the thumb and index finger so you can use your electronic devices without having to remove them! Touch screen gloves, also on the Hunger Site Store.
So keep the Greater Good in mind for your next shopping venture. And for your upcoming holiday shopping! And don’t forget to click to give every day. Sign up for their daily reminders if you need them.
