Fat Pet? So what?
A full animal is a happy animal right?
Actually a little extra weight on your dog or cat can have a big impact on their quality of life. As smaller beings than us humans, just a little excess fat can be a bigger deal than you may realize. And with fur, it’s sometimes hard to tell just how overweight cats or dogs are. It can lead to serious health problems and overall lack of health.
For some tips on how to know if your pet is overweight and what you can do about it, see my post: Is Your Pet Excessively Fluffy?
You like to feel healthy don’t you?

As Bear’s pet parent said in the video, “I gained a friend”, when our pets feel good, it’s like getting our old friend back again.

Our little dudes lost a bunch of weight on the raw diet. They're all slim and svelte now! Which is good because they looked like blimps before – we just didn't notice until we fostered some kittens and realized just HOW overweight they were! WEight is so important!
This sounds like a great food for helping cats lose weight. We're fortunate…right now…that we are at okay weights and don't need it. 🙂
