Curiosity Killed the Cat. Or Did It? #CuriousCat

December 12, 2013 by L. E. Mastilock

Cat’s are very curious, as everyone knows.

Rascal and Rocco are no exception. In fact, they are the most curious cats I have ever known!

They get into anything and everything. If something new is brought into the house, they have to know all about it, smell it, taste it, climb on and in it, and knock it over. Nothing is safe!

Curiosity Killed the Cat. Or Did It? #CuriousCat
This stroller smells different than it did yesterday!

I often put things up specifically so the cats can’t get them. How did I become so ruled by felines that I consider them when selecting where to put something in my home?!

My BOX! I have to have it! #CuriousCat

Of course any box is an automatic target for a curious cat. I needed to use this box to return something, so put it in on a chair, with the lid closed, and pressed up against the table so curious kitties would stay out of it and hopefully it would not be destroyed before I could use it.

I thought it might be safe for a few moments.

I was wrong.

Rascal is not the only one who gets into trouble.

What’s going on out there?

Both of my cats find mischief with their insatiable curiosity!

Is that MY cat in the neighbor's car?! #CuriousCat

Rocco even found himself missing all of last weekend. (Details here)

What cute cats you have and I love their names! We keep our cats indoors so they don't go in neighbors' cars. Great picture. Glad Rascal got that box!

Frankies that way with bags as soon as the shopping cart comes back in the house he's all over it. He thinks everytime I go shopping he gets something. Thanks for another great hop.

Manna is like that too! Nothing comes through the door without a Manna inspection. If it passes the Manna inspection, Cinco might decide that he needs to inspect it too.

Actually both of them were in there, I saw them out my window climbing over the seats! But, by the time I got out there with my camera, Rascal was out and Rocco was climbing out. Notice how little the window was open!

omc…climbing out of the neighbor's car! 🙂 we had a pair of older foster boys that had to be into EVERYTHING. mom said she would get tired just thinking about what else they could get into

Rascal paces the house in search of more trouble. It's exhausting to watch sometimes!

Hey, a box just begs for exploring!

True. The humans are a bit dense thinking any empty box would go undisturbed.
