I hope your pets are helping with your decorations.
My whole family is loving all the cards! I have them hanging across our home from ribbon like a festive banner. Not to mention all the great ecards, as well!
Thank you so much for all the holiday cheer!
I have missed the last two Monday Matters. I’ll get back on that train as soon as possible. For now, keep sharing the Bowls of Love #shakeitforward campaign for food to be donated to shelters. And shop for a cause this holiday season. Help animals while you purchase those great gifts.
Please comment or send me an email if you know of a great cause or charity I can share in the future.
Speaking of great gifts, if you need some gift ideas for cats, dogs, and pet loving humans come over and check out Rascal, Rocco, and Max’s wish lists. Plus a huge cash giveaway, open for only two more days.
In other news, I have just heard about a new app that is about to launch called the, wait for it…., the Pet Parade! Now where have I heard that term before? Oh yes, not to be confused with my fabulous weekly Pet Parade pet blogger hop that begins anew each Friday. That will continue in all it’s glory.
No, this app is separate, and looks like a fun and easy way to digitally dress up your pets, especially for those of who would have to risk their lives to get a cute outfit on their cats. I won’t name any names. And better yet, it’s free, AND supports a great animal charity through votes. Watch the intro video below for more details.
About the Pet Parade App
Pet charity Blue Cross has teamed up with Digital Giving to launch Pet Parade, a FREE app that is great fun to use! It allows pet owners to dress up their pets in the virtual world to spare the animals the discomfort (and indignity) of doing it for real. Money received through this unique fundraising venture will go to help pets in need.
Blue Cross has been dedicated to the health and happiness of pets for over 100 years. It is funded entirely by public donations. The Pet Parade app will help raise money for the thousands of sick, injured and abandoned pets it cares for every year.
Pet owners can share their cool, funny or cute creations with the world in an online carnival parade. Money is raised for Blue Cross when votes are cast via a pet’s own Just Giving page. The pet with the most votes – and money raised – will be crowned Pet Parade Carnival King or Queen in the inaugural Easter 2014 Pet Parade
You can download the app, from 20th December 2013 (launch day), for free, from http://www.pet-parade.net/.
